State of the Community
Topeka Mayor Bill Bunten and Shawnee County Commissioner Ted Ensley presented their report of governmental activities in 2011 and their visions for 2012 at the State of the Community Event Monday, April 23, 2012, at the Capitol Plaza Hotel, 1717 SW Topeka Boulevard, in the Sunflower Ballroom.
“Despite tough economic times, our county and city governments accomplished many projects during 2011 and the community continues to benefit from their diligent efforts to improve efficiencies and service delivery to the citizens of Shawnee County,” said Doug Kinsinger, Chamber president & CEO. “We were pleased to offer this forum for our governmental leaders to share their story.”
