Vehicle & Voter RegistrationVehicle Registration & LicenseDriver's License Exam Station 3722 SW Burlingame Circle Vehicle Registration You can register and obtain tags from the following locations: Shawnee County Courthouse White Lakes Center Annex Hours for both locations are: A vehicle being transferred from another state must have a vehicle inspection, which can be obtained through the Kansas Highway Patrol located in the office at the White Lakes Center Annex. Personal Property TaxKansas residents pay personal property taxes on vehicles. This annual tax, assessed based on year and model of the car, is due at time of registration. You can call the Shawnee County Treasurer's Office to find out the amount due on your make and model of car. 785-233-8200, ext. 5161.
