Goal: Increase membership to 1600.
Strategy: Conduct annual membership drive.
Action plan:
- Recruit volunteer teams to sell during at least one campaign.

- Meet the new sales quota.
- Continue direct sales program.
- Print membership addendum in June 2003.
- Train new Chamber staff on membership costs.
Goal: Maintain 80% or higher retention.
Strategy: Conduct new membership receptions.
Action plan:
- Hold spring, summer, and fall receptions both morning & evening hours available.
Action plan:
- Hold quarterly Power Breakfast meetings.
- Continue with Business After Hours.
- Continue with Diplomat Visitations.
- Add Power Networking event.

Strategy: Provide, review, monitor, & develop benefits for our members.
Action plan:
- Continue to research members needs.
- Create new media package for new members.
Goal: Inform and promote member firms and their services.
Strategy: Continue to let membership know of other Chamber members and their services.
Action plan:
- Continue to mail Chamber Connection.
- Provide members an opportunity to promote their businesses in Newcomer Packet.
- Mail Community Happenings monthly.
- Promote new Membership Marketing Center in Chamber Lobby.
Goal: Reward and recognize involvement in membership development.
Strategy: Continue with awards.
Action plan:
- Continue with Chairman's Club for high levels of selling memberships.
- Continue with Diplomat of the Quarter and of the Year.
- Continue with Salesperson of the Year.
- Change membership plaque to a window cling for more prominent display. Add year so general public will see if the membership is current.
